Children's Yoga Class Series - Yoga through Games, Stories & Mindful Meditation with Deborah Chandler-Vanherp Next held on Tue, Jun 27, 2017 at 2:30 pm - 3:15 pm
This enrollment runs from Tue Jun 27, 2017 - Tue Aug 8, 2017
Today’s children lead demanding and hectic lives. These demands can be very stressful leading to runaway negative thoughts, low self-esteem, lack of compassion and empathy, negative body image, and lack of respect for themselves and others. Yoga can offer some relief!

During these weekly classes Deb will introduce yoga poses, breathing exercises and mindful meditation. This class series will provide children with the tools they need to manage their thoughts and emotions.  The techniques practiced in class will help to build more resilient, focused and well balanced individuals.

This class series is open to all children ages 4 through 12 and all levels of ability are welcome, including children with special needs.

This is a 6 week series beginning June 27th and meets Tuesdays 2:30-3:15 for children ages 4-7 & 4:00-5:00 for ages 8-12.  Cost is $60 for all 6 classes.  There will not be a class July 4th.

A parent/guardian/other family member must also attend class with their child/children either as an observer or participant. This allows an adult member of the family to reinforce the skills learned in class in the home environment.
